The AOA has negotiated a room rate of $149.00 single/double (plus applicable taxes) per night. Reimbursement will be provided for one night's stay at the Watermark Hotel ($173.96). Attendees should make their own hotel reservations by calling 1-800-THE-OMNI and referencing the American Osteopathic Association room block. To receive the group rate, hotel reservations must be made by Tuesday, December 15, 2009. The Watermark Hotel and Spa is an Omni Hotel. We have applied for Category 1B CME, and hope to have it available for physicians in attendance. There will be a $50.00 fee for CME credit that can be paid on site by check or credit card.
Airfare
Airfare costs up to $400 will be provided for one osteopathic physician from each licensing board. It is expected that your airline ticket will be economy class, lowest fare in order to be reimbursed. Any airfare amount over $400.00 requires prior approval. All compensated airline reservations must be made no later than Tuesday December 15th. Depending on the number of attendees and the airfare expenses, we may be able to reimburse for a second night's lodging. Attendees will be responsible for all other expenses incurred. Additional physicians, public members and executive directors are welcome to attend the meeting. However, due to budget constraints, the cost of these additional attendees cannot be covered by AAOE.
